A healthy lifestyle is not only about physical activity and proper nutrition. Dr. Tennant believes the way we choose to  navigate our relationships also impacts our health.  With this in mind, she has joined forces with Bruce Dougherty to create fun, interactive, innovative programs to help people better understand who they are (attachment style, personality type, core values, etc.), how and why they react based on their past, and how they can take charge and be more conscious in their choices.

“I believe research findings should not only be available to other researchers through academic publications but should also be translated into programs that help individuals in the real world. As a scholar-practitioner, I apply my knowledge in psychology, exercise physiology, health behavior change, social-cognitive theory, and relationship dynamics and to enhance people’s lives and assist them in achieving their relationship and health and wellness goals through evidence-based programs delivered in a fun, interactive, innovative, and informative manner.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

My Version

I’m passionate about improving the quality of life of those around me.  I believe we are not at the mercy of our genetic makeup or our past. I talk about the benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables daily every chance I get. I also think that awareness and communication skills are crucial to healthy relationships. Music moves me; dancing makes me happy.

The more I learn, the more I realize I know very little. Personal growth is important to me.  Everything I do is guided by the conscious principles of recognition, authenticity, transparency, responsibility, consistency, and acceptance. I’m humbled that you have chosen to look at this website.  I hope I can help you with your journey to a better you!
